Your funds are independently held in trust accounts by Public Trust, the custodian. Public Trust has sole control over the operation of these trust accounts and The New Zealand Tax Trading Company tax pool, to the exclusion of The New Zealand Tax Trading Company.

Public Trust Corporate Trustee Services is the custodian for The New Zealand Tax Trading Company tax pool. Its key responsibilities are to...

  • hold all client funds on trust in specifically designated trust accounts established by Public Trust for this purpose whether at IRD or a registered bank. As holder of these accounts Public Trust has sole control over the trust accounts, to the exclusion of The New Zealand Tax Trading Company.
  • ensure that client funds are dealt with and transactions authorised and completed as instructed by the Client.
